Call for Papers

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Participants are welcome to submit abstracts on the topics that are listed below, but are not limited to those mentioned. Please indicate at the bottom of your abstract under which topic you would like to present.

Abstracts will be reviewed and rated by members of the Scientific Program Committee who have expertise in the research or clinical area to which the submission belongs. Each submission will be reviewed for its scientific or clinical importance, ethical practice, and study design. Accepted abstracts will be for poster presentation only. Authors will be informed in due time whether their abstract/s have been accepted. Inclusion of abstracts in the scientific program and book of abstracts is dependent on payment of registration fees.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS: August 1, 2008

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS
Abstracts must be submitted in English by e-mail to the following address: ana@targetconf.com.
Abstracts should be saved as a Word document and attached to the e-mail.

The submitted abstract should not have been previously published

If the investigation has included animals or human subjects, please place a statement in the methods section, confirming adherence to the appropriate animal use and human study guidelines.

Presentations must avoid commercialism. If the cost of a presentation has been underwritten to any extent, a clear acknowledgment stating the support and identifying the source should be included in the abstract (e.g., "The support of [corporation or institution] for this project is gratefully acknowledged.").

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS

  • Title should be typed in CAPITAL LETTERS, bold and left aligned.
  • Presenting author’s name should be underlined and bolded.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12 points, single spacing.
  • If submitting more than one abstract, each abstract must be sent as a separate e-mail message and the title should indicate that these are separate abstracts,
    i.e. JILL BROWN ABSTRACT 1; JILL BROWN ABSTRACT 2; etc.
  • Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words.
  • No end–notes, diagrams or frames are acceptable
  • Please note: Faxed abstracts will not be accepted
