VENUE
The Dan Panorama Tel Aviv, on the beachfront overlooking the Mediterranean, is the Congress venue.

The Congress will be conducted in English.

All participants must submit a registration form.

Note: Registration for workshops is limited, participation is on "first come first serve" basis

Fee for participants and residents includes:  Congress kit, program and abstract book, participation in all scientific sessions, coffee at breaks, 2 light lunches, Get-Together Reception, Walking Night Tour of Tel Aviv and Festive Dinner.

Fee for accompanying persons includes:  Get-Together reception, Walking Night Tour of Tel Aviv, Festive Dinner and two half day tours during session times.

PAYMENT
Payment for registration fees must be paid directly to the Secretariat and can be made by check, bank transfer* or credit card.  Kindly refer to the registration form for details.  Please ensure that registration forms are submitted together with payment (one per participant) and that details stated are clear and legible.
* Please ensure that the name/s of the participant/s and Congress are clearly stated on the bank transfer and that all bank charges are pre-paid.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Our refund policy is based upon receiving notification as follows:

  • Notification received by July 31, 2008 - full refund less US$ 50 handling fee
  • Notification received after July 31, 2008 and by August 31, 2008 - 50% refund
  • Notification received after August 31, 2008 - no refund

LETTER OF INVITATION
Upon request, the Congress Secretariat will send a personal letter of invitation to participate in the Congress.  It should be understood that such an invitation is only meant to assist participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa and does not represent a commitment on the part of the Organizing Committee.

VISAS
We suggest you confirm with your travel agent whether you will require a visa to Israel.

CLIMATE
The temperature in Tel Aviv in September is generally warm with highs of approx. 28°C and
lows of 19°C.

Guided walking tour in the neighbourhood of Neve Tzedek which was one of
the first neighbourhoods established north of Jaffa. This once very sleepy quarter has recently been transformed into one of the trendiest areas of the city.

08:00 Departure from the registration desk at the Dan Panorama Hotel for a morning tour to
Caesarea, the magnificent Herodian port city with its theater and hippodrome, right on the shores of the Mediterranean. See the magnificent Byzantine bathhouses and Crusader fortifications.
Return to the hotel at approximately 13:00.

09:00  Departure for a bus tour of Tel Aviv Highlights including Dizengoff Avenue, the house where Ben Gurion declared independence and Rothschild Boulevard with its Bauhaus architecture. Time for a stroll and a coffee on the boardwalk of the Old Port and Tel Aviv’s promenade.
